The Illinois Chapter of ARCS Foundation welcomes the support of businesses, corporations, foundations, and organizations throughout Illinois. We are pleased that the number of community partnerships between the Illinois Chapter of ARCS Foundation and the business community continues to grow. Their interest, their commitment, and their generous support allow us to work with our university partners to seek out the most deserving scholars, and to promote the future of scientific America. They are invaluable to our success, and it is with great appreciation, therefore, that we thank our community by highlighting briefly some of our partners.

The Chicago Academy of Sciences located in Chicago's Lincoln Park opened its Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum in the year 2000. Since that time, the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, definitely a hands-on museum, has become a destination of wonder particularly for the young children of the City. It is with special pleasure that the Illinois Chapter of ARCS Foundation thanks the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum for providing meeting space for our monthly Board meetings. It is a beautiful and well-equipped setting, and one which reminds us always of the vital connection between those bright-eyed young children who are just beginning to understand the importance of natural science, and those dedicated ARCS Scholars whose scientific wonder has grown from awe to destiny through their research which we are proud to support. Our thanks to the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum for sharing our dream of a more innovative and inter-related scientific future for the children who may become the ARCS Foundation Scholars, and for helping to make that scientific future happen through their partnership with ARCS Illinois Chapter..
