Speaker: Dr. Jenna Nikolaides, MD/MA,  Emergency Physician and Medical Toxicologist
 
Topics: What is Medical Toxicology?

 Current trends in Drugs of Abuse and Modern Poisoning Epidemics
 
Dr. Jenna Nikolaides graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2006. In 2011 she received an MD from Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine and an MA in Medical Humanities and Bioethics from Northwestern's Graduate School.  

She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at SUNY Buffalo[delete comma] and recently completed a fellowship in Medical Toxicology at the Toxikon Consortium—a joint program of University of Illinois at Chicago, Stroger Hospital of Cook County, and the Illinois Poison Center.

This winter Dr. Nikolaides will start an International Medical Toxicology fellowship at the
 Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in Scotland.
 
A luncheon will follow Dr. Nikolaides' presentation.
